Rawls College of Business: For the Next Generation of
Business Leaders
The plans are finalized, the site is cleared, and a new
building for the Rawls College of Business is coming! Thanks
to the support of our incredibly loyal alumni and friends,
Texas Tech University will begin construction this year.
There are still a great many opportunities to provide
support for the project and the Capital Campaign will
continue. Please visit our website at

see how you can help.
Looking Ahead
The way the world is doing business is changing and so the
way we are educating tomorrow’s business leaders today needs
to change. As we look at management and business decisions
currently being undertaken in industry, it is imperative
that business schools do a better job of building business
leaders with strong ethical standards. The Rawls College of
Business is transforming its academic programs to meet these
needs. The college is committed to incorporating ethics into
our academic programs to ensure that our graduates are also
learning how to be good citizens.
Professionals today whether in the medical, legal,
architectural or engineering industries have a much greater
need for a business education. By partnering with other
colleges on campus to offer joint masters programs, we are
addressing this need. In addition, we are working on
creating more integration of the business disciplines to
provide our students with a better understanding of the
whole business process. We will continue to offer
specialized programs to meet the needs of industry such as
Energy Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Health Organization
Management, as well as MBA Programs tailored for the working
professional.
We are excited about these initiatives and the many others
we have undertaken to prepare our students to be the next
generation of business leaders. Your support and advice
continue to play a key role in enhancing our mission of
education.
Thank you for your continuing support.
