The Rawls College of Business is transforming its academic programs to meet these needs. Professionals in the medical, legal, architectural and engineering industries, now more than ever, have a much greater need for a business education. By partnering with other colleges on campus to offer joint masters programs, we have increased and enhanced the value of our professional degrees. In addition to the Executive Education programs that are already in place, like the Tax Institute and the Banking School, new specialized programs, such as Energy Commerce, Entrepreneurship, Health Organization Management,as well as an MBA Program for Working Professionals have been added to our curriculum.
The college’s rising standards and excellent reputation are attracting outstanding faculty and the very best and brightest students from across the state, the nation, and around the world.

As a major comprehensive, research-based business school with a wide range of programs, the Jerry S. Rawls College of Business Administration:
- Educates and develops our students for positions of leadership in Texas and the global marketplace;
- Emphasizes partnerships with other Texas Tech units and external parties to provide educational and research opportunities for students and faculty and to provide benefits to our external stakeholders;
